We had the privilege of having Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg visit and spend time with our Volunteers & Guests during one of our Winter Sanctuary Nights!
BLUE SHIELD PARTNERSHIP
Over the past 2 years we have partnered with (B.E.N) The Black Employee Network of Blue Shield of California. They have served along side our Staff to provide food & clothing for the less fortunate in our city.

Sacramento's Winter Sanctuary provides food and shelter during the months of December through March, for the homeless citizens of our city. In 2017, DOZE, housed and fed over 1,500 less fortunate citizens. Over the past seven years, DOZE have partnered with Volunteers of America and Sac Steps Forward to provide this much needed service and assistance.
